I’m an undergrad studying the science of computers, specifically focusing on data science and machine learning. My goal is to apply my knowledge to develop efficient and impactful projects.

I have proficiency in Python and C++, and experience with relational database systems such as PostgreSQL and MySQL, although primarily for database integration in my personal projects.

I’m currently working as a data science intern for MetLife, where I work alongside a talented team of data scientists and ML engineers who help me learn more practical skills. Through this experience, I’ve gained insight in financial use-cases for data science & ML.

In addition to my major, I’ve minored in Asian-American studies, where I analyzed historical literature from distinguished Asian-American authors such as Arundhati Roy, Carlos Bulosan, Maxine Hong Kingston, John Okada, Hisaye Yamamoto, and others. These works have significantly shaped my views, as a member of the diaspora. I’m also a recipient of the 2023-2024 Asian-American Scholarship for AAS Minors.

Special thanks to my friends, mentors & professors; their teachings on not just academia, but life, have been invaluable.
